Dr. Tramayne Butler-DeLong, PhD founded TransformaWell in 2023 to educate more people about the concept of wellness and to address the rising numbers of chronic disease cases that can be prevented with healthy lifestyle changes. She wanted to provide resources to the public to help improve the health of communities and through sharing knowledge about innovations in nutrition and exercise. She believes in the Hippocratic saying “Let food be thy medicine” and wants to teach others how they can heal their bodies through healthy food and movement.

Dr. Tramayne Butler DeLong, PhD
A cultural anthropologist, mom of four, a Mayo Clinic Certified Wellness Coach and entrepreneur, Dr. Tramayne M. Butler-DeLong, PhD founded TransformaWell with a passion to help others live life healthier, happier and well. She is a Phi Beta Kappa, honor society member, National Science Foundation Fellow and Social Science Research Council Fellow who has conducted cultural research in both Kenya and the U.S. After receiving her Ph.D. from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, the Chicago native returned to the city to settle and start a family. Dr. Butler-DeLong has taught a wide array of courses in the social sciences as an adjunct professor.
She became interested in health and wellness after her first two children were born. Inspired by her cultural research in Kenya as well as her travels to London, Paris, Nice, Italy and Monaco, Dr. Butler felt that an all natural skin care line could benefit from the holistic and cross-cultural approach of anthropology. She founded AnthroSpa Logic, LLC in 2007 relying on her background in anthropology to develop effective 100% natural products that combine the proven beauty practices used for centuries of ancient civilizations and native cultures around the world.
In addition to helping many people achieve glowing, healthier skin, Dr. Butler-DeLong wanted to help people reach their overall health goals. She became a Mayo Clinic certified wellness coach working with clients to address health concerns such as weight management.
